Katoby Distribution began in 2003 as the national distributor in Canada for SoothSoft Innovations Worldwide, Inc. and their line of SoothSoft Comfort Technology products including the Chillow, Canine Cooler and CompuSooth. Realizing the need for an expanded product line, in 2005 the Kyjen & Outward Hound lines were added to compliment the Canine Cooler in the pet industry market.

In 2006, Katoby was introduced to CaniSource dog food. Recognizing that this product not only fit the company’s philosophy of being a unique and innovative product, but that there was no other food on the market like it; Katoby began a working relationship with the company. Between the initial introduction to CaniSource in 2006 and the actual launch of CaniSource to the Ontario pet industry in the fall of 2007, Gifty Idea Greeting Cards and Such came under the Katoby banner for distribution within the Canadian pet industry. In the fall of 2008 Katoby took over the Canadian distribution of Cain & Able Collection as well as Ontario and Western Canada distribution of ZooMania beds and blankets. The spring of 2009 welcomed our most recent addition to our product line-up – Spoil the Dog Bakery – an Ontario based treat manufacturer.
